Lead Culinary Expert Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Culinary Expert to join our team in the redevelopment of a hotel in Wexford. This is an exciting opportunity for a culinary leader to make a lasting impact on the hotel's food scene.
In this role, you will be responsible for creating innovative and exceptional menus that showcase your culinary expertise and passion. You will lead and inspire a dedicated team of chefs, fostering a collaborative and positive kitchen environment. Maintaining the highest standards in food quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction is essential to your success.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in general practice (GP), cost management, and menu development. Proven experience as a Sous Chef/Head Chef, successfully managing a fast-paced kitchen team, is also essential. Excellent problem-solving abilities with a calm demeanor under pressure and attention to detail, ensuring the highest standards in food safety and hygiene, are must-haves. Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively guide and motivate your team are required.
A formal culinary training or degree in Culinary Arts or a related field is preferred. A successful track record as Head Chef in a similar hospitality setting and a true passion for the culinary arts and understanding of global food trends and techniques are highly valued.
This is a competitive salary position, with bonus and accommodation options available. We offer a performance-based bonus and housing allowance.
