THE ROLE
Tesco Ireland is inviting a Customer Experience Manager to support and lead a team to deliver the best shopping experience for our customers.
This role reports to the Deputy Manager and aims to ensure we are serving Ireland's shoppers better every day.
You will be responsible for
Creating an inspiring and welcoming environment for colleagues and customers
Managing change and checkout operations and equipment
Acting on behalf of the Store Manager/Deputy Manager when absent
Ensuring the team is fully trained and validated
Fostering two-way communication and a culture of trust
Coaching colleagues to deliver daily priorities at the right time
Reviewing reports and systems to drive customer and colleague improvements
Driving a zero-food-waste culture, managing date codes, and preventing food suitable for consumption from going to waste
Recruiting passionate colleagues for the team
Understanding cleaning specifications and leading by example to meet the plan
Managing stock control activities, warehouse layout and processes to ensure efficiency
Root-causing pricing, overcharge, refund and label issues to ensure correct pricing
Managing the front-end operation so customers queue minimally
Recognising great service and giving feedback when service falls short
You will need
Being passionate about delivering the right experience for customers and colleagues
Being adaptable and agile in your thinking
Delivering key objectives in a fast-paced environment
Acting as the go-to person for all departmental queries
Shaping and influencing at the most senior level
Previous retail experience in a similar role (preferred)
