Senior Quantity Surveyor Position
We are seeking a skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to fill a key role in our organization.
* Lead and manage the Quantity Surveying function across multiple projects, ensuring timely completion and accurate budgeting.
* Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities (BOQ's) to ARM4/5 and schedule of rates (SOR), maintaining compliance with industry standards.
* Provide precise estimates and effectively manage project costs, minimizing financial risks.
* Evaluate and negotiate contracts, contract changes, and variations, fostering strong relationships with clients and contractors.
* Assist in the preparation of cost plans and cash flow projections, supporting informed business decisions.
* Develop and maintain documentation controls and filing systems, ensuring seamless data access and retrieval.
* Regularly communicate with clients, contractors, and design teams, promoting collaborative efforts and resolving potential issues promptly.
* Support the preparation of progress reports, providing stakeholders with up-to-date information on project status.
Requirements and Qualifications:
* Hold a degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management, demonstrating a solid foundation in the field.
* Demonstrate a proven track record as a Quantity Surveyor within the Consultancy construction sector, showcasing expertise and adaptability.
* Possess a strong understanding of construction methodologies, cost management, and contract administration, applying this knowledge to drive project success.
* Hold a full Irish driving license, facilitating easy travel between sites.
