Dublin % on Site Immediate interview and Immediate Start The duration will likely be 3 months Salary per Year €57, Role The primary duty of this role is to provide senior level IT consultancy and support of the core ICT infrastructure.
Provide second and third level support for all clinical and non-clinical systems; support all hardware and software tools, including installation, configuration and maintenance of these systems.
This role also requires strong communication skills, self-motivation, ability to work alone or as part of a team, great leadership skills, project management skills and problem solving.
Essential Experience
• Ability to lead, coordinate and implement ICT projects.
• Carry out post implementation reviews ensuring maximum benefits and management of outstanding issues.
• Ability to manage cyber security applications and tools.
• Liaise with vendors and ability to manage third party contracts.
• Knowledge of Wireless infrastructure.
• Knowledge of SAN and Fibre Channel.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco ASA Firewalls.
• Technical lead of major application installations.
• Building new servers and environments for new applications.
• Experience working with Microsoft Server Infrastructure.
Desirable Experience
• Experience working with VMware vCenter/vSphere in a high availability environment
• Experience working with LAN networking devices and associated systems
• Experience working with Veeam Enterprise backup solution
• Experience working with SAN Management and SAN network topologies
• Microsoft or Cisco certification
• Experience working in a hospital setting Qualifications / Experience
• Honours degree or postgraduate qualification in Computing / IT
• Experience in leading and implementing ICT projects.
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN/VLAN topologies, VMware server deployment, TCP/IP; Active Directory, Windows Server, Virtualization and Veeam Backup software.
• MCP/CCNA or CCNP required.
