University College Dublin (UCD) is seeking a Technical Officer to work in the School of Agriculture & Food Science.
Responsibilities
The successful applicant will work as part of the Animal Nutrition and forage production team, teaching undergraduate and postgraduate modules and leading cutting‑edge research programmes in dairy cow, beef cattle, pig and sheep nutrition and forage production & utilisation. They will be responsible for managing research within the animal nutrition laboratory, supporting the broader animal nutrition/forage production teams and delivering parts of the teaching and demonstration programmes as required.
Pay
Base pay range: €47,261 – €61,932 per annum (based on skill and experience). Appointment will be on scale and in accordance with Department of Finance guidelines.
