This Accountant role offers the opportunity to play a key part in supporting senior leaders with expert financial advice, developing business cases, and helping to shape effective financial management across the organisation.
The role: Provide financial support, analysis, and advice to senior managers and budget holders.
Develop business cases and costings to support service and project planning.
Monitor budgets, analyse variances, and implement corrective actions.
Contribute to financial reporting, planning, and capital programme monitoring.
Manage financial risks and support internal/external audit processes.
Deliver financial training, tools, and information to improve budget management.
Ensure compliance with policies, maintain professionalism, and continuously develop skills.
The Person As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience: Essential: Qualified Accountant from a professional body.
Experience in financial management.
Experience of budgetary control and preparation of management accounting reports.
