Job Overview
The Production Supervisor position is responsible for overseeing all molding operations, establishing standards of performance, measuring results, analyzing workflow and troubleshooting problems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain a safe and clean environment by adhering to and enforcing all safety procedures/policies.
* Ensure customer requirements are met by reviewing and approving labor management, understanding all products and quality specifications of active products.
* Establish and monitor plant performance by creating goals and reviewing tracking metrics, developing and communicating plans to reduce scrap.
* Manage the performance of direct reports, including reviewing and approving performance evaluations and investigating accident reports.
* Verify compliance with all PM Management activities, track, monitor and verify accuracy of RM, WIP and FG inventories.
* Implement and uphold the Quality System ISO 13485, ensuring GMP compliance, product quality and adherence to safety and regulatory standards ISO 14001.
* Drive technical and operational enhancements, managing the performance of the production facility, including resourcing, manpower, and efficiency.
* Monitor production data (e.g. downtime, waste, non-conformances) and implement solutions.
Requirements:
* At least 5 years experience in an Injection Moulding Medical Device manufacturing facility, and general manufacturing operations in a similar high-volume production role.
* Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
* Able to analyze performance data and present actionable insights.
* A results-driven approach with a knack for problem-solving and continuous improvement.
* Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and techniques.
