In this role, you will play a key part in supporting existing products and overseeing the introduction of new products at our contract manufacturers. You will be responsible for analysing and resolving manufacturing issues to ensure smooth production processes. Our products are designed to meet comprehensive regulatory approvals, so your selection of electronic components and feature sets must adhere to these standards.
What You’ll Do:

* Manage test procedures, assembly instructions, test fixture designs, validation of golden samples, and approval of the manufacturing line.
* Assist in updating existing products for manufacturing to maintain efficiency and compliance with current standards.
* Facilitate the relocation of existing products to new manufacturing locations, ensuring a smooth transition.
* Address manufacturing maintenance issues by managing tasks through a prioritized Agile Kanban process.
* Specify alternative components as needed due to component end-of-life, cost-reduction initiatives, or compliance requirements.
* Collaborate with Design Engineers to ensure effective Design for Manufacture (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) practices.
* Conduct supplier process audits globally to ensure adherence to approval standards.
* Work cross-functionally to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and analyse and resolve field-reported hardware issues.
What You'll Need to be Successful:
* Senior Electronic Engineer with a minimum of 5 years’ post-graduate experience and a degree or equivalent qualification in Electronic Engineering.
* Experience in product release to manufacturing, including transferring builds, ramp-ups, and conducting First Article Inspections on new manufacturing lines.
* Proficient in troubleshooting manufacturing build issues and resolving customer product escalations with QA teams.
* Skilled in fault-finding for analogue and digital solutions and managing Bill of Materials.
* Experienced in sourcing alternatives for obsolete electronic components and knowledgeable about environmental design aspects.

* Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
* Willingness to travel periodically to contract manufacturer sites.
