We are seeking an experienced and motivated Home Care Manager to take on a pivotal leadership role in our organisation as we establish our Home Care division. Responsibilities
Lead the day‑to‑day operational management of home support services across the Dublin and Wicklow region.
Serve as the named HSE liaison, managing all regulatory reporting, KPI submissions, and compliance obligations.
Manage, support, and develop a team of Home Support Workers and Supervisors.
Oversee recruitment, induction, training, and ongoing competency assessment of all care staff.
Ensure all services are delivered in line with individual Home Support Care Plans agreed with the HSE.
Manage safeguarding, incident reporting, and open disclosure processes in line with current legislation.
Maintain all required policies, procedures, and records to the standards required for a regulated home support service.
Submit monthly invoices, missed call statements, and quarterly KPI self‑declarations to the HSE.
Support continuous quality improvement and contribute to the ongoing development of our service.
Role Requirements
Essential
Minimum 3 years' experience in home care, community care, or healthcare management.
Relevant qualification in Nursing, Healthcare, Social Care, or a related field at degree level or above.
Solid working knowledge of HSE home support regulations, the Authorisation Scheme, and KPI reporting.
Experience managing frontline care teams in a community or home care setting.
Strong knowledge of safeguarding, Children First, and relevant Irish healthcare legislation.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
Full clean driving licence.
Desirable
Nursing registration (NMBI) or clinical governance experience.
Previous experience working within private or publicly‑funded home support services.
Experience in service development, tender processes, or growing a home care service.
Familiarity with HIQA National Standards for Safer Better Healthcare.
