Management Accountant
With operations across Europe the organisation is continuing its European expansion in **** and beyond.
This growth has created an opportunity for a finance professional to join a dynamic and evolving Finance team.
Reporting directly to the CFO, this role is ideal for a motivated self-starter with strong attention to detail who is keen to develop their career within a growing business.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
Review and analyse Profit & Loss movements to ensure accuracy and completeness
Prepare monthly journals, including accruals, prepayments, and depreciation
Take ownership of Balance Sheet reconciliations
Complete monthly bank and intercompany reconciliations
Support the year-end audit process
Maintain the Fixed Asset Register
Maintain the company vehicle register and support insurance updates and renewals
Prepare and submit VAT returns across multiple European entities
Prepare and submit VIES, Intrastat, and CSO returns
Provide cover for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable when required
Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis and finance projects as they arise
General Office Administration
Manage office supplies and liaise with external service providers
Act as the administrative contact for IT platforms
Monitor renewals for subscriptions, insurances, and related services
Experience and Requirements
Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA accountant (or equivalent)
1-3 years' post-qualification experience
Strong proficiency in MS Excel and accounting systemsExcellent attention to detail
Proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to take initiative
Strong organisational and communication skills
