The post holder will assist the Quality Assurance & Compliance Manager to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Duties include but not limited to:· Implement food safety and quality standards (IFS Food) to ensure all product and food safety specifications are met· Keep all documentation current and create precise reports to meet Sofrimar and Customer Standards.· Liaise with relevant government authorities in relation to Quality.· Perform scheduled inspections / audits· Monitor and provide guidance to production team as required.· Inspection and testing of processes and procedures – taking measurements and comparing to predefined standards.· Maintain Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) program.Key Skills· Degree in Food Science or a related discipline, or equivalent third-level qualification in a similar field· Experience in HACCP implementation and auditing an advantage· Knowledge of food safety standards an advantage.For more information, please contact:Eiléan Hynes, Human Resources Manager,, ext. 163Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: From €33,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person
