Senior Cloud Security Analyst - Kubernetes & Cloud (Contract Role)
Stelfox is partnering with a leading client in Dublin to hire a Senior Cloud Security Analyst - Kubernetes & Cloud. This role offers the opportunity to work in a large-scale multi‑cloud and Kubernetes environment, helping to build and maintain modern cloud security practices.
Dublin, Ireland | Hybrid (1 day onsite per week)
12-month initial contract | Long-term rolling contract | Potential for permanent role
Key Responsibilities
Deploy and manage CSPM, CNAPP, and CWPP solutions across multi‑cloud and Kubernetes environments.
Define and enforce cloud security architectures and guardrails aligned with Zero Trust and Least Privilege principles.
Optimize cloud security controls including IAM, WAFs, VPC security, and data protection (KMS/Vault).
Integrate cloud telemetry (GCP, AWS, Azure, Kubernetes logs) with SIEM/SOAR platforms.
Implement Security as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep.
Manage and secure containerized workloads across GKE, AKS, and EKS environments.
Harden Kubernetes clusters and maintain security baselines for images, registries, and runtimes.
Support cloud security incident response and stay updated on emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
Required Skills
7 years’ experience in Information Security
Strong knowledge of Kubernetes security controls including RBAC, Secrets management, Ingress, and TLS.
Hands‑on experience with two or more public cloud platforms (GCP and Azure preferred; AWS or OCI a plus).
Scripting skills (Python preferred, Bash or Go beneficial).
Experience with container runtime security and cluster hardening.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation.
Knowledge of security frameworks including ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, and CIS Benchmarks for cloud and Kubernetes.
