Key Responsibilities
Carry out basic duties after being shown by a Manager.
* Maintains light and power circuits, controls, lighting fixtures, transformers, communications systems, standby battery power circuits and equipment, making repairs as necessary
* Performing general electrical maintenance
* Tests as necessary for short circuits, grounds, and other electrical disorders and takes corrective measures as indicated
* Perform testing, troubleshooting, installation, and repair of electrical systems and components
* Installs new circuits and equipment
* Documenting repairs and modifications
* Responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining electrical systems on the properties as requested
* Installs conduits, wires, cables, pull boxes, transformers, switches and other related
* equipment required in making additions, extensions, or alterations in electrical systems
* Undertake duties as assigned or emergency tasks
* Identify and report the need for major repairs
* Manage and maintain resources effectively and efficiently
* Correctly use the job tracking system Salesforce
* Take before and after pictures of all assigned tasks
* Assisting with other general maintenance works (e.g., minor carpentry, painting, or tilling) when required.
Preventative Maintenance
* Carry out routine electrical inspections in line with regulatory standards.
* Ensure early detection of faults to minimize safety risks and long-term costs.
* Recommend and implement system upgrades or energy efficiency improvements.
Compliance & Safety
* Ensure all electrical work complies with current Irish regulations and standards.
* Adhere strictly to company and statutory safety policies (e.g., Safe Pass, PPE usage).
* Maintain accurate records of work completed, inspections, and compliance certificates.
Client Interaction
* Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, property managers, and on-site staff.
* Provide advice on safe use, energy efficiency, and preventative electrical care.
* Deliver a reliable service that reinforces client trust and satisfaction.

Candidate Profile
Skills & Experience
* Minimum of 2 years' experience as a qualified electrician.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring regulations, and fault diagnosis.
* Experience in both residential and commercial environments.
* Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and specifications.
Required Certifications
* FETAC Level 6 advanced qualification in electrical work (Required)
* Strong domestic/residential experience (Essential)
* A proactive, adaptable approach and willingness to assist with a variety of maintenance tasks.
* QC qualification
* Up-to-date safety certifications (Safe Pass, Manual Handling)
