Stepping Stones Care Ltd, was established in 2008 we provide residential care to children and Adults with ID and Autism.This is a small service for people with high care needs.Job Title:Health care assistant and Social Care WorkerStatus:Full Time ContractLocation:Co, DublinJob DescriptionWe are recruiting Health care assistant to help support a person with an intellectual disability and/or Autism to enjoy an ordinary life while being supported and empowered so that they can live their life to the fullest while in a residential setting.DutiesSupport the team to ensure that the service you provide complies with the applicable HIQA regulations.Sufficient professional knowledge to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the role.Ensure compliance with record keeping is in line with legislation and HIQA requirements.Work directly with individuals and completing administrative tasks relating to the day-to-day running of the house.Be highly organised, have excellent report writing and IT and time management skills.Flexibility and openness to changeOur ideal candidateRelevant qualifications of QQI Level 5 in HealthcareExperience supporting children/adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism.Experience in a HIQA regulation environment and supporting children/adults with intellectual disabilitiesExcellent organisational and communication skillsStrong knowledge of HIQA Standards.Full Clean Driving License40 hours a weekSkillsMedication Disability care Personal Care Assistance Residential Care
