Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Western Alzheimers is currently recruiting for Healthcare Assistants within our in‑home Respite Sitter Service / Day Care. This is a CE placement and a great opportunity for someone looking to return to work, up‑skill and gain further experience working with elderly clients in a person‑centred healthcare setting. You are kind, reliable and a good listener. Our In‑home respite sitter service may be the perfect job for you, while also allowing you to further your career by participating in healthcare support training which will help you achieve your QQI /FETAC Level 5. Coaching and mentoring will be provided to develop your confidence and competencies within your role.
