Role Overview
My client is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to enhance the reliability, scalability, and performance of cloud-based systems. You will work across engineering, operations, and security teams to implement automation, monitor systems, and ensure resilient, high-performing platforms.
Key Responsibilities
1. Maintain and optimise cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) for reliability and scalability
2. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
3. Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability for production systems
4. Manage containerised workloads and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
5. Drive infrastructure-as-code practices (Terraform, CloudFormation,
6. Troubleshoot production issues and lead incident response efforts
7. Collaborate with development teams to improve system performance, availability, and maintainability
Key Requirements
8. Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a similar DevOps/SRE role
9. Strong cloud platform expertise (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
10. Experience with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions,
11. Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration
12. Expertise in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation,
13. Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or equivalent)
14. Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack,
15. Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills
