We are looking for a Purchasing Manager to join our team.We specialise in the sale and manufacture of containerised solutions and modular buildings available for sale & hire.As Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for leading the sourcing and purchasing of raw materials and goods, for the entire production process.Duties & ResponsibilitiesOversee the entire purchasing processNegotiate with suppliers in order to secure best price and payment terms based on bulk buying practicesDevelop a purchasing strategy that supports all areas of the businessDevelop relationships with suppliersManage delivery of goods and ensure qualityManage and monitor stock levels with Stores Manager, to ensure a minimum quantity is available at all timesCollaborate with the Sales team and Production Manager to ensure availability of all items requiredAnalyse markets trends in regards to product substitution, availability and pricingProvide regular reporting to senior management on procurement KPIsRequirements & QualificationsProven experience in purchasing/procurement within a manufacturing, construction/engineering related businessGood communication & negotiation skillsGood commercial awareness and data analysis skillsAbility to work in collaboration with sales & production teamsAbility to deliver results under occasional tight deadlines and delivery schedulesExperience & knowledge of procurement operating systemsA degree or certification in purchasing would be an advantageJob Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person
