The Global Response Operations organization within Global Operations responds to real-time crises, proactively identifies and evaluates emerging risks, conducts risk-related investigations, and assesses how we can best benefit our community. By understanding and managing incidents and real-time crises to resolution, the organization drives continuous improvement with our partners across Meta.
Role Overview
The SEO (Specialized Enforcement Operations) team focuses on high priority, complex, or regulatory enforcement demands, providing specialized support for systems or scaled solutions. The team is flexible and agile, deploying enforcement experience to adapt to shifting priorities and dynamic situations, requiring local context, language, policy, community, or functional expertise.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with stakeholders across Operations, Policy, Legal, Process, and Product teams to review and enforce content reported for potential abuse, resolve user account issues, and enhance support for Sub Saharan Africa (Kirundi) and the AMET (Africa, Middle East & Turkey) region.
* Enforce on content related to risk and crisis within the Sub-Saharan Africa Market for Kirundi, including working within an on-call operational structure for critical content enforcement.
* Utilize language skills and regional knowledge to identify signals and insights, addressing complex operational issues and risks.
* Support the development of scalable solutions to improve community support and operational efficiency.
* Investigate and resolve issues on Meta products, including abusive content and account support requests.
* Assist enforcement efforts on global, source-agnostic content, and identify integrity risks affecting advertising and business operations.
* Analyze metrics, collaborate on process improvements, and build expertise in regional abuse areas.
* Investigate emerging risks, influence policy recommendations, and work with cross-functional teams to develop solutions.
* Coordinate with Meta vendor teams to meet operational KPIs and improve processes and tools.

Minimum Qualifications
* Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree prior to joining Meta.
* At least 2 years of professional experience in an operations environment.
* Fluency in Kirundi and experience communicating with diverse audiences in the SSA market.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
* Experience working with graphic or objectionable content.
* Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to change.
* Technical skills including Excel, SQL, and visualization tools like Tableau.
Preferred Qualifications
* Additional language proficiency in AMET languages is preferred.
