Job Description
As a seasoned IT professional, you will play a pivotal role in the Application Service Delivery team, responsible for managing production environments and ensuring seamless system operation. Your expertise will be invaluable in driving our global technology transformation, leveraging your skills to improve investment management platforms and applications.
Your primary objective will be to provide top-notch production management services, overseeing systems used by Front Office, Operations, and Client teams. You will also be accountable for the integrity of our technology platform, including nightly data import processes from multiple external vendors.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, fostering strong relationships and navigating the broader technology organization to achieve business objectives. Additionally, you will interface with external vendors and their technical support/development organizations to ensure swift issue resolution and strategic enhancements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* A minimum of 5+ years of experience working in a technology role, preferably in software development and/or application support.
* Strong analytical, investigation, and troubleshooting skills, coupled with an unwavering commitment to continuous learning.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Experience with writing database queries using SQL (MS SQL preferred) and familiarity with Linux operating systems is highly desirable.
