A growing company within the forestry industry based in Co. Offaly, is seeking an Accounting Technician to join its finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with experience in a fast-paced finance function who is eager to learn and develop their career.
This is permanent,full-time role, working Mon-Fri onsite.
Your new job
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* Manage daily banking and reconcile transactions.
* Maintain up-to-date ledgers and records using Sage or similar software.
* Raise customer invoices and support credit control activities.
* Reconcile supplier statements and purchase orders.
* Monitor and allocate departmental costs.
* Support monthly financial reporting and assist with audit preparation.
* Input payroll data and help with PAYE, VAT, and RCT filings.
* Provide admin support for social media and other internal initiatives when needed.
* Ensure financial data confidentiality and compliance with internal policies.
* Assist with general finance and office administration tasks as needed.
What are we looking for?
* Degree in Business, Accounting, or similar.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a finance team.
* Proficient in Sage 50 and Excel.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Self-starter with the ability to work to deadlines.
