Cloud Infrastructure Specialist
This role involves leading the delivery and maintenance of cloud infrastructure projects. It requires expertise in technical project management, customer support, and mentorship.
* Provide technical guidance and hands-on assistance for customer cloud environments.
* Act as a senior point of contact for resolving technical issues, ensuring timely resolutions.
* Oversee the planning, implementation, and delivery of IT cloud infrastructure projects.
* Mentor junior engineers to enhance their skills and contribute to knowledge sharing within the organization.
* Establish effective communication with clients and key stakeholders regarding project progress and requirements.
* Manage relationships with vendors and coordinate services from third-party providers.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL Server, virtualisation technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), networking, firewalls, endpoint protection, backup solutions, and disaster recovery planning is essential. Experience working in hybrid cloud environments, combining on-premises and cloud infrastructures, is also necessary.
