This individual will be an integral part of the international accounting team with focus on our European and South American countries. This is a great opportunity that will allow for career growth as the Company continues to expand.Responsible for assisting with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close procedures.Preparation of journal entries for entities with the EMEA region based on supporting documentation and schedules – across a range of account balances.Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and management reporting packages.Preparation of monthly balance sheet and income statement variance analysis for management.Support in the delivery of audits for entities within the EMEA region.Support in the procure to pay process end to end.Assist in process improvement projects, including coordination with cross-functional teams.Qualifications:Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Accounting or a similar qualification. Ability to work 40 hours a week, with three days onsite in the Cork office.Detail oriented with excellent analytical and prioritization skills.Strong organisation and written and verbal communication skills.Strong proficiency in MS Excel.Experience with an accounting software/ERP system is a plus.Why Proofpoint?
