Electrical Engineer - Water Treatment Systems
As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the conception and execution of water treatment plant projects. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and updating electrical designs for upgrades, maintenance, and improvements.
In this position, you will oversee electrical engineering activities during the design, construction, and commissioning phases of water treatment projects. This entails managing the installation of electrical equipment such as motor control centers, transformers, switchgear, generators, and PLC systems.
You will collaborate closely with mechanical engineers, civil engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless project delivery. Moreover, it is essential that electrical designs and installations adhere to environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain project documentation, including risk assessments, safety plans, and technical reports.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
* Lead electrical engineering activities during design, construction, and commissioning phases.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
* Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or working towards it would be an advantage.
* A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on water treatment plants, utilities, or similar industries.
Desirable Skills:
* Familiarity with SCADA, PLC control systems, and automation in process environments.
