Job Description:
Under general supervision, the Analyst will be responsible for investment data management, providing clients with holistic data sets to meet stakeholder requirements. The role involves researching solutions for data challenges faced by institutional clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as the initial point of entry for all investment data, including investment transactions, valuations, manager estimates, income/expenses, contributions/spending, holdings, exposure data, and benchmarks.
* Prepare investment reconciliations, including cash, positions, performance, transactions, and alternative investment metrics.
* Review NAV, allocation, and client performance for alternative investments.
* Participate in process improvements based on expertise and experience.
Required Knowledge & Skills:
* Basic understanding of the investment industry, markets, and instruments.
* Knowledge of investment concepts such as IRR, time-weighted return, NAVs, accruals.
* Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work effectively under deadlines.
* Willingness to work unconventional hours during critical project phases.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with complex asset allocators like endowments, foundations, family offices, institutional asset managers, pension funds, or sovereign wealth funds.
* Technical skills in investment administration and portfolio analytics platforms.
* Focus on operational process improvement.
* Client servicing experience.
* Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders.
Educational Requirements:
* Degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, or related fields.
* Interest in pursuing CFA, CAIA, CIPM certifications.
