Senior Cardiac Physiologist An opportunity has arisen to join our Cardiology team, as a Senior Cardiac Physiologist.
This is a Full time permanent position Purpose of post: To be familiar with the techniques and range of equipment used in current medical practice for the diagnosis, treatment and care of patients referred to the Cardiology Clinic.
Professional qualifications, registration, essential skills knowledge: Possess the BSc in Clinical Measurement from Dublin Institute of Technology or equivalent.
Or possess the Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement from Dublin Institute of Technology or equivalent.
Applicants should have an up to date BSE (British Society of Echocardiography) or (European Society of Cardiology) EACVI Accreditation.
Information on approved entry to practise qualifications can be found at / Have three years (post qualification) experience in Echocardiography and / or Cardiac Catheterisation The successful candidate should possess good interpersonal skills and an awareness/sensitivity towards patient needs.
The successful candidate must be available to work flexible hours/shift work Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a high volume workload Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of the multi-disciplinary team.
