Job Role: C/ANP
The c/ANP plays a pivotal role in delivering effective, recovery-oriented, high-quality, team-based, integrated care for individuals with mental health problems. The role involves assessing individuals and supporting them through appropriate treatment and recovery interventions to reduce the need for acute hospitalization.
The main objectives of this c/ANP post are to:
1. Support the development of a comprehensive Mental Health Service based in Cork University Hospital’s Hub team to improve services for young people and their families/carers/supporters, addressing increased demand on community mental health services.
2. Assist in implementing the CAMHS Hubs in line with best practices and standardized operating procedures.
3. Collaborate with the Hub team to develop protocols supporting the growth of CAMHS Hubs, ensuring equitable service access for all children and young people.
4. Respond effectively to the mental health needs of young people experiencing crises.
5. Ensure strong links between Community CAMHS Teams, Psych Hub, and the CAMHS Hub team where applicable.
