BHA Construction is seeking a Senior Estimator/Estimation Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will report to the Managing Director and will be responsible for all our company's estimation and preconstruction activities. Our projects encompass residential, fit-out, and general contracting services. We are looking for an experienced candidate who will take bids from first look to handover and make sure what we price is buildable, profitable, and worth winning.

What you'll do
* Lead live tenders
end-to-end: measurement, pricing, prelims, VE, RFIs, clarifications, and negotiations.
* De-risk every bid:
contract conditions, programme, logistics, design gaps; no surprises at handover.
* Align delivery with price:
methodology, resources, site logistics, and supply chain coverage.
* Own the pipeline:
keep the tracker honest; forecast workload, cashflow, and hit dates.
* Support Development:
early cost plans, feasibility budgets, and bank/funder models.
* Present to Exec:
margin/risk, VE options, key assumptions, and recommendation.
What good looks like
* Win rate north of
30%
on targeted bids.
* ≤±5%
variance from tender to re-measurement.
* Zero major scope/BOQ issues at handover.
* A pricing library that gets sharper every month
What you bring
* 5-10 years estimating/pre-con with a main contractor (residential/fit-out exposure ideal).
* Contract literacy: PWC (Public Works), RIAI, NEC/JCT

you know where the landmines are.
* Strong take-off, benchmarking, prelims build-up, VE, and programme alignment.
* Tools: CostX/Buildsoft/Cubit, advanced Excel; Procore/CRM a plus.
* Calm under deadline pressure; clear communicator; commercially tough and fair.
