The Client:
My Client are an established-but-growing Residential Developer. They have several sites in Co. Kerry and Co. Limerick and are known for building quality homes across the Country.
Position Overview
We are looking for 2 Project Manager/Site Manager positions to oversee Housing projects in Co. Kerry. Both are initially for circa 60 unit developments consisting of 2‑ and 3‑storey, timber‑frame properties. You will be the most senior person on site and will ensure site safety and operations run smoothly while reporting to a regional Senior PM/Director. We consider candidates from trades or engineering backgrounds with previous experience managing residential developments.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
* Monitor project progress, manage risks, and resolve issues as they arise.
* Manage on‑site construction activities, ensuring project milestones are met.
* Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and trades.
* Manage EHS as per company and industry standards.
* Ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
* Maintain site records, progress reports, and day‑to‑day problem‑solving.
* Monitor project costs and ensure resources are used efficiently.
Requirements:
* Degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience as a construction engineer, senior engineer, site manager, or PM.
* Previous management of a housing project is a plus.
* Strong knowledge of construction techniques, regulations, and health & safety requirements.
* Proven track record in delivering complex residential projects on time and within budget.
* Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple teams across various disciplines.
* Project management qualifications (PMP, degree, etc.) are desirable.
