Apple Premium Service Technician – Harvey Norman Ireland
Harvey Norman is a leading retail brand with 289 stores worldwide and 16 stores in Ireland. We are an Apple Premium Authorized Service Provider (PSP) located in Rathfarnham and we are looking for a highly organized, customer‑focused and technically curious individual to deliver exceptional support for Apple hardware and software.
Responsibilities
* Maintain customer records in Harvey Norman’s service database and keep real‑time repair status updates.
* Utilise the point of sale system to accurately record customer information.
* Order and manage parts, including invoicing and other administrative tasks.
* Prepare detailed repair/replacement and service estimates for customers and clients.
* Explain complex technical issues to customers in a clear, non‑technical manner.
* Answer phone calls and emails in a professional, courteous, and friendly manner.
* Collaborate with Lovetech departments across all Harvey Norman stores to ensure nationwide customer satisfaction.
* Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the service centre.
* Handle deliveries and shipments, and manage reservations.
* Work effectively as part of a team while being self‑sufficient in daily duties.
Qualifications & Skills
* Strong desire to grow technical knowledge and passion for IT.
* Previous experience in customer service and support with Mac & iOS devices.
* Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills across devices and software.
* Outstanding customer‑service experience in a client‑facing role.
* Capacity to manage multiple short‑, medium‑ and long‑term projects simultaneously.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent time‑management and organisational abilities.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel).
* Motivation to pursue ACMT & ACIT certifications and advance within the technician team.
