The impact is significant in terms of project size and scope, influencing decisions through advice and facilitating services to others in the area of specialization.What You\'ll DoPlay a pivotal role in Citi\'s daily operations by interacting with multiple businesses across the enterpriseLeverage subject matter expertise in physical security and safety, crisis management, security technology, event security/logistics, or vendor managementDirectly manage Citi facilities and security staff at those facilities as delegated by the Regional Director of SecurityOversee security operations to safeguard premises and employees against risk (unauthorized entry, fire, theft, vandalism, and related risks)Enforce security rules and safety standardsReview security or safety incidents and implement corrective actions to reduce riskEnsure security procedures are enforced and that personnel are trained to respond to emergenciesCollaborate with other departments on security and safety issuesProvide training, operational readiness exercises, and practice security operations, drills, and day-to-day security systems functioningDevelop and maintain relationships with local law enforcement, first responders, and key business support entities to support assigned facilitiesMaintain CSIS systems, staff, and equipment to meet internal/external audit requirementsDemonstrate basic knowledge of vendor and invoice managementOperate with limited supervision and exercise independent judgmentAct as Subject Matter Expert to senior stakeholders and team membersAssess risk in business decisions, safeguarding Citi\'s reputation and assets, ensuring compliance with laws and policies, and escalating/reporting control issues transparentlyWhat We\'ll Need From YouSeasoned security officer experienceBachelor\'s or Associate degree plus equivalent work experience, or high school diploma plus equivalent experienceExperience adhering to current security protocols, operations manuals, and guidesAbility to foster relationships with external agencies to promote functional excellenceDemonstrated ability to make sound judgments quicklyExperience maintaining corporate assets and equipment in readiness to meet requirementsUnderstanding of security vulnerabilities and preventative measuresExperience with security and safety technologyAbility to follow security instructions and report deviationsRelevant experience in private/public sector security environmentsProfessional security certificationsExperience in a corporate or financial services security teamFlexibility to work on-call, off-hours, and weekendsEducationBachelor\'s degree or equivalent experienceThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
