Quality Cabling Professional
The role involves driving excellence in data center infrastructure to achieve world-class quality.
* Focus on fiber optic components, cabling and interconnect products, technologies and standards.
* Collaborate with the engineering team to establish a comprehensive global design standards document, best practices for installation and detailed product specifications for inside plant cabling.
* Support new product implementation activities that improve infrastructure quality, reduce costs and installation time.
The position requires auditing and inspecting data center and edge sites to ensure compliance with established standards, generating punch lists, providing remediation plans and continuously improving designs and processes.
Key responsibilities include:
• Developing and maintaining global design standards documents
• Collaborating with the engineering team to establish best practices for installation and product specifications
• Supporting new product implementation activities to improve infrastructure quality and reduce costs
• Auditing and inspecting data center and edge sites to ensure compliance with established standards
