They are now seeking a Technical Director – Electrical for their Dublin or Cork office.

Role Overview
This is a senior leadership position responsible for leading the Electrical Engineering function in Ireland, driving technical delivery, team development, and client engagement, while supporting broader business strategy.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading and developing the Electrical Engineering team in Ireland
Overseeing design delivery, coordination, and technical assurance across projects
Supporting business strategy and senior leadership decision-making
Managing project financial performance (fee proposals, cost, margin, programme)
Acting as key client interface and developing long-term relationships
Leading technical design, systems specification, and engineering solutions
Ensuring compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and QA processes
Overseeing surveys, due diligence, and existing asset assessments
Supporting procurement, tendering, and contractor coordination
Mentoring and developing junior and mid-level engineers
Representing the business at client and industry meetings/events
Contributing to technical leadership, white papers, and knowledge sharing
Requirements
Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 6 years working in the Irish building services industry
Chartered Engineer status (or equivalent)
Strong background in electrical building services consultancy
Proven project and team leadership experience
Strong commercial and contract awareness
Excellent client-facing and communication skills
Knowledge of Irish/UK regulations and industry standards
Experience in complex or international projects desirable
