About the Role
We are seeking an experienced leader to join our team as Area Manager, leading and supporting teams across seven services. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on building strong relationships, ensuring high standards of care, and leading by example.
As Area Manager, you will be responsible for making sure each service runs smoothly, remains fully compliant, and continues to deliver the best possible outcomes for children and families. You will work closely with our leadership team, coordinators, and director, with the support of a dedicated administrative executive to help you with operational and compliance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and support teams across seven services, ensuring consistency, quality, and compliance.
* Oversee regulatory compliance and manage inspections from TUSLA, Pobal, and Environmental Health.
* Guide and empower Deputy Manager and Coordinators, helping them to grow and lead their own teams with confidence.
* Support the leadership team and report directly to the Director, providing updates on operations and compliance.
* Manage Tusla CICs and support with Core Funding compliance processes.
* Handle complaints professionally and act as the Designated Liaison Person (DLP).
* Lead on recruitment, hiring, contracts, and annual leave management.
The Successful Candidate:
* Must have at least 6 years experience in childcare or a related management role.
* Must have experience managing TUSLA inspections and ensuring full compliance.
* Must be confident leading and motivating large, multi-site teams.
* Must communicate clearly and warmly, and build strong, trusting relationships.
* Must be highly organised, proactive, and calm under pressure.
* Must lead with empathy, care, and a genuine passion for helping others succeed.

Hours and Salary:
* 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.
* Starting salary €40,000, depending on experience.
