Location: Tuam, Galway, Ireland
Based in Tuam, Galway and reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, you will work as part of the Transitions Optical team as HR Business Partner, supporting the local Transitions Ireland team while gaining exposure to projects and activities at a global level. You will work with a dynamic HR team to support the end-to-end employee lifecycle. This is a one year maternity cover contract.
Main Responsibilities
* Act as a business partner to a defined client base to provide HR expertise, guidance, advice and provide coaching to leaders.
* Recruitment coordinate all recruitment activities at a local level and provide support at a global level – screening, shortlisting, interview coordination while working with the Global TA team for support roles.
* Provide HR support to the local Management Team on strategic HR processes, like Performance Management, Talent Management, Succession Planning, Workforce Planning Compensation, Employment Law/Relations, etc.
* Manage the full life cycle of HR processes from Recruitment to Offboarding.
* Onboarding Oversee and administer new hire process including the drafting of contracts and new hire documentation, visa process management, relocation support, new hire orientation.
* Offboarding Coordinate the leavers process, conducting exit interviews, benefits closure, kick off the replacement process.
* Employee Relations Provide support to employees and managers on any ER issues that arise including grievance and disciplinary processes, performance management, probation and terminations.
* Benefits Manage the day to day employee benefits admin, build relationships with our benefits providers, and support the HR Manager on the renewals process.
* Policies & Procedures Review and update policies and procedures in line with business needs and legislative updates and providing training to managers and employees on same. Provide guidance and interpretation of policies to employees and managers.
* Employee engagement lead the roll out of engagement surveys for the Global Transitions population. Providing data and statistics to leadership throughout and after the survey.
Main Requirements
* 3rd level qualification in Human Resources or a relevant associated discipline
* 5 years' experience in a demanding in a mid to senior HR Generalist / HRBP role
* CIPD qualified or working towards
* Excellent knowledge of Irish Employment Legislation
* Excellent communication skills both verbal & written with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders
* Proficiency in MS Suite
* Must be a team player
* High Level of attention to detail
* Strong Organisational skills
