Global Social Media Leader
. This role is about
scale, standards, and performance
, not posting content. You'll set global social strategy, build operating models, govern best practice across markets, and drive measurable impact in a highly regulated category.
What will I be doing?
* Lead and implement global social media best practices and operational standards across multiple categories and markets
* Set and govern brand social strategy, ensuring consistency, compliance, and effectiveness across platforms
* Partner with regional teams and agencies to optimise social media investment, tools, and ways of working
* Drive performance by defining measurement frameworks, analysing results, and continuously improving social impact
* Foster a strong internal community of practice, sharing insights and scaling successful social media approaches
What experience and skills should I have?
* Minimum 7 years' experience in social media and marketing, ideally within CPG or other regulated industries
* Proven experience leading social media across multiple markets or regions within a global organisation
* Strong understanding of the digital and social ecosystem, with a performance- and data-led mindset
* Ability to influence senior stakeholders, markets, and agencies without direct authority
* Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
