Job Title: Product Supervisor
Role Summary
The Product Supervisor oversees a Product Builder group, ensuring it meets requirements in Quality, Cost, Delivery, Supply, Safety, and People.
This role requires strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills, as well as a comprehensive understanding of the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensures compliance with all company Health & Safety policies and addresses all H&S issues on the shift.
2. Maintains manufacturing-volume requirements, meeting On-Time-In-Full targets within budget and schedule mix.
3. Effectively manages employee performance, including coaching, counseling, developing, and monitoring employees, and taking necessary performance management action.
4. Fosters open two-way communication regarding individual, team, and company objectives and performance through weekly team meetings and daily line interactions.
5. Develops Operational plans in conjunction with the Business Unit Leader to ensure alignment with overall Site and Operations functions strategy.
6. Leads problem-solving initiatives and actively collaborates with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, & Supply Chain) to reduce waste across the business.
7. Establishes and supports a work environment of continuous improvement that aligns with the Quality Policy, Quality System, and relevant regulations.
8. Ensures employees are trained for their roles and documents their training.
9. Develops a training program to achieve optimal cross-training versatility and flexibility while maintaining H&S requirements.
10. Performs administrative duties, including updating metrics, Time and Attendance system, Holiday planning, etc.
11. Implement Visual cell management and participates in Lean activities.
