Procurement Specialist Role
This is a dynamic and challenging Procurement Specialist position, where you will play a vital role in supporting construction activities by sourcing and procuring goods and services. You will collaborate with multiple project sites across Ireland, ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment in line with project specifications and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
* Receive requests from construction sites and raise accurate purchase orders efficiently
* Coordinate logistics and transport, including movement of company plant and materials to and from sites effectively
* Compile and produce reports as required, providing valuable insights into procurement processes
* Perform other duties assigned by the manager, contributing to operational efficiency and compliance
* Oversee and maintain up-to-date certifications for safety equipment across project sites and head office, ensuring a safe working environment
Key Requirements:
* Strong negotiation skills with a focus on cost efficiency and value creation
* Excellent communication and vendor relationship management abilities, building strong partnerships
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with ERP or purchasing systems, leveraging technology to enhance procurement processes
