One of Ireland's largest financial companies with over 200 locations nationwide, which provides a diverse range of services in banking, financial and related services, is currently seeking a Customer Service official at South-West Dublin
Your new role
You will be tasked with ensuring efficient delivery of customer service.
1. Greeting and engaging with customers on banking hall floor – enquiring as to their needs
2. Guiding customers to the appropriate self-service options – mobile app, internet banking and kiosks. Directing to Teller/Customer Service if required, Handling basic queries and complaints – directing to senior staff as required
3. Engaging with customers using iPads, updating customer information and sales needs, Identifying sales opportunities, handing over to suitable staff as required
4. Cash handling – processing and managing cash and cheque lodgements at Teller as required. Responsible for balancing cash at end of day and managing levels throughout the day
5. Customer Service experience, high standard of service and demonstrated awareness of the importance of same
6. Good communication and interpersonal skills – ability to work as part of a team in a busy branch
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate should possess strong technology skills, particularly in Microsoft Office. Excellent customer service abilities, teamwork, and a professional phone manner are essential. Previous experience in administration and customer-facing roles would be advantageous.
