Group Treasury System & Control Specialist

The Role
This role is responsible for ensuring the secure, well governed, and compliant operation of the Group’s treasury and banking systems by owning system controls, access governance, policy compliance, and audit assurance, while supporting continuous improvement and treasury system transformation.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Act as Lead Bank Administrator for all banking platforms ensuring profiles, authorities, and system configurations are accurate, up to date, and appropriately controlled.
Maintain facility related limits with relationship banks.
Act as the primary owner for all treasury systems at head office, support the online expense management system.
Serve as the Group’s point of expertise for treasury systems, banking controls, and access governance, providing guidance, training, and assurance as necessary.
Drive the ongoing development, and consistent application of the Group Treasury Policy across all Group entities, monitoring compliance and supporting remediation where gaps are identified.
Ongoing identification of effective internal controls contributing to effective risk management.
Lead internal and external system and control related audits.
Play a key role in treasury improvement projects, including the implementation and ongoing ownership of the Treasury Management System (TMS), ensuring strong controls, effective user adoption, and long‑term sustainability.
Provide support for other time sensitive Treasury processes from time to time.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills Required
Strong academic record, with third level qualification in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
Previous experience working in Treasury a strong advantage.
Control focused with a pragmatic solution driven attitude.
Proven track record in implementing system driven solutions.
Excellent analytical skills (numerical and written).
Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills across all levels of the organisation.
