A Day in The Life Of:
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Designs and develops automated test systems for electronic based products
Develops test specifications & requirements for Functional Test Processes
Provides timely test support on new product development in readiness for launch
Troubleshoots Test Failures and proposes efficient and quality-driven solutions
Provides detailed feedback and analysis on Test Yields throughout the NPD process
Maintains and repairs electronic and mechanical test systems
Identifies and implements opportunities for improvement on existing Test Systems/Processes and Validates Test Systems
Key Skills & Experience
Level 8 Degree in Electronic Engineering with a minimum of 7 years' experience in Electronic Design and / or Test Development OR Master's degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience OR PhD with 3 years relevant experience
Experience with Product Development, Test Automation and Embedded Systems
Ability to interpret Circuit Diagrams and PCB schematics
Working knowledge of analog/digital electronics essential
Experience with equipment development and process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ)
Project Management skills including Gantt charts
Experience working with suppliers including managing project deliverables
Team dynamic skills (communication, accountability, decision-making, feedback, meeting management, managing conflict)
Problem solving and root cause analysis for improvements or non-conformances
Nice to Have
Medical Device experience
Experience with Labview
Verbal, written and presentation skills.
Technical writing skills & updating documentation and procedures.
Strong statistical skills using Minitab.
Six Sigma Lean Manufacturing experience preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Access, Excel, Project, Visio, and Word
Knowledge of capital project budgets including forecasting and quoting a plus
Experience developing statements of work, project charters, and project plans
