We're looking for a skilled Senior DevOps / Cloud Platform Engineer to join a high-growth technology team building AI-driven solutions used across the healthcare sector.
This is a hands-on role where you'll design, operate, and continually improve a modern AWS and Kubernetes platform powering critical, large-scale workloads.
In this position, you will work across infrastructure, automation, observability, security, and platform reliability, partnering closely with development and security teams to ensure smooth, resilient operations.
You'll also play a key role in evolving DevOps practices, mentoring engineers, and driving platform maturity.
What You'll Do Manage and optimise AWS infrastructure across multi-env, multi-region setups.
Build and operate Amazon EKS clusters using Karpenter, KEDA, and GitOps workflows.
Oversee cluster upgrades, service migrations, and resilience improvements.
Enhance CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and maintain ArgoCD automation.
Use CloudFormation, Terraform, Helm, and Kubernetes manifests to standardise deployments.
Strengthen observability with Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, and centralised logging.
Implement security best practices across WAF, IAM, GuardDuty, Security Hub, and compliance tooling.
Support FinOps initiatives, reducing cloud cost inefficiencies and improving spend visibility.
Troubleshoot complex performance, networking, and distributed systems issues.
Contribute to incident response, disaster recovery, and platform reliability strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers.
What You Bring 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering roles.
Deep experience with AWS (EKS, EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, ALB, CloudWatch, etc.).
Strong Kubernetes expertise, including production EKS environments.
Hands-on experience with Karpenter, KEDA, GitOps and ArgoCD.
Solid CI/CD background (GitHub Actions preferred).
Strong knowledge of Terraform/CloudFormation, Docker, Helm, and IaC workflows.
Excellent troubleshooting across Linux, networking, and distributed systems.
Experience with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch).
Understanding of cloud security and compliance frameworks.
