And Ocean is a recurring theme, ever present with stunning views ofthe rolling waves and the rugged landscape stretching as far as the eye can seeto the Cliffs of Moher.Trump International Doonbeg is home to aproud and motivated workforce of over 300 staff during high season, offering aworld class 5 Star Hotel workplace, with the beauty and balance of west Clareliving.JobTitle: Maintenance TechnicianDepartment: FacilitiesResponsibleTo: Property Operations &Maintenance ManagerType of Contract: PermanentMain Purpose of Job: Carry out skilled work to a high standard in both the interior andexterior of our property, to ensure that the buildings and facilities are safefunctional and well maintained.Liaises with: AlldepartmentsMAIN DUTIESPerform routine inspections of buildings and facilities to identifymaintenance needs. Repairing and maintaining electrical systems, including lighting, outlets,and circuit breakers.Troubleshooting and fixing plumbing issues such a leaks, and heatingproblems.Conduct HVAC maintenance tasks, filter replacement system cleaning.Address structural maintenance needs, repair walls, ceilings, floors anddoors.Coordinate with sub-contractors and equipment manufacturers serviceengineers.Respond to maintenance request and emergencies in a timely manner.Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performedand materials used.Experience with BMS and Fire Alarm Systems.Experience with bothElectrical and Mechanical maintenance neededHEALTH & SAFETYTo fulfilyour obligations under the Health & Safety at Work Act 1989 and anyrevisions or additional legislation made thereto.To ensure that reasonable care istaken for health and safety of yourself, other employees, guests and any otherperson on the premises.To keep your work area tidy and safeand report any hazard, accident, loss or damage to management.To be aware of trained first-aidpersonnel on the premises and the location of first aid box.To observe all safety rules andprocedures, including those laid down in the Health & Safety Statement foryour place of work.To carry out and promote fire andaccident drills as directed by the hotel safety officer.OTHER DUTIESThe aboveis not intended to be an exhaustive list and you will be expected to complywith any reasonable requests or duties as directed by management.QUALIFYING CRITERIATrade Qualification in Mechanical/Electrical and or Diploma inEngineering, Electrical or Building Services is desirable.Have 2/3 years' experience in a similar role.Have the ability to multi task and stay calm in stressful situations.Demonstrated mechanical problem solving skills essential.Have a strong technical knowledge.Analytical and problem-solving ability essential.Experience working in a fast-paced environment.Excellent level of spoken and written English.The ability to work on their own initiative.Strong trouble shooting and diagnostic skills.BENEFITSDiscounts in our Spa, Hotel & Golf course.
