The Role:
We are seeking a Credit Underwriting Officer to join our underwriting team. This role is central to our lending operations and offers an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a dynamic fintech environment.The role is office based
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and process nationwide loan and credit applications
Analyse personal financial information including bank statements, payslips and supporting documentation
Make accurate, efficient and compliant credit decisions
Work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team
Support management in the development and underwriting of new lending products
Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to system updates and process changes
Requirements:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy
Proficient computer skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectivelySelf-motivated with a proactive and professional approach
The successful candidate will be required to work on‑site at our Killarney office
Qualifications / Experience:
Third‑level qualification, QFA, Financial or Accountancy qualification, or relevant experience
Previous experience in a financial services or credit‑related role is a distinct advantage
