Tipperary Nursing Home is currently recruiting for a qualified Persons in Charge (PIC)to join our team. The Person in Charge (PIC) will be responsible for the clinical management of the Nursing Home.Key Responsibilities:Responsible for ensuring compliance with HIQA standardsReport and where appropriate respond to complaints, in line with organisational policies and procedures.The Person in Charge manages the Clinical Team as well as providing leadership and supervision of audits,appraisals and committee / team meetings.Coordinate and prioritise appointments in liaison with multi-disciplinary team.Ensure a high quality of life for residents through person centred care plans, health promotion, reviews and personal risk assessments, as appropriate.Ensure care plans are regularly reviewed and updated as per regulations.Be aware of current developments within relevant profession and maintain a commitment to ongoing professional development.Requirements:Meet HIQA requirements to fulfil the role of PICHave a minimum of three years' experience in a management or supervisory role in Health or Social Care sector.Hold an appropriate qualification in Health or Social Care management.
