Title: Marketing Manager
The Irish College of English (ICE) is a student‑focused language school committed to outstanding learning experiences and a warm, welcoming community. We're looking for a hands‑on marketer who can blend strong digital capabilities with excellent person‑to‑person engagement.
The role will have a lot of autonomy and needs someone who is self-motivated and who will be responsible for driving student acquisition and brand growth across digital channels and in-person outreach. You'll plan and run campaigns, grow our databases and CRM, build partnerships, and represent ICE at events with confidence and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
* Digital marketing
* Plan, execute, and optimise multi‑channel campaigns (social, search, display, email)
* Manage content calendar; create copy and light creative for web, social, and ads
* Own email marketing: list growth, segmentation, automation, and deliverability
* Improve SEO and website performance in partnership with our web team
* Track and report on KPIs using GA4 and platform analytics; test and iterate
* Social Media Content Management
* Database and CRM
* Build, clean, and segment prospect and partner databases
* Implement CRM workflows for lead nurture and follow‑up
* Ensure GDPR‑compliant data capture, consent, storage, and usage
* Person‑to‑person marketing
* Represent ICE at fairs, open days, and partner visits; give engaging presentations
* Build and maintain relationships with agents, schools, universities, and community groups
* Coordinate student ambassador and alumni testimonial initiatives
* Brand and partnerships
* Maintain consistent brand voice and visual standards
* Identify and activate partnerships and local/community marketing opportunities
* Support photo shoots, video content, PR moments, and events
About You
* 3+ years' experience in marketing with both digital and face‑to‑face components
* Strong copywriting, storytelling, and presentation skills
* Proficient with: GA4/Looker Studio, Meta/LinkedIn ads, Google Ads, email tools (e.g., Mailchimp/HubSpot), and a CMS (e.g., WordPress)
* Comfortable with basic design/video tools (Canva/Adobe, short‑form video)
* CRM and database management experience; clear understanding of GDPR best practices
* Data‑driven mindset with a test‑and‑learn approach
* Friendly, confident communicator who enjoys meeting people and representing a brand
* Experience in education, language schools, travel, or hospitality is a plus
