Job Title: Automation Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee project workflow and support resources to execute timely delivery of projects with expected quality standards.
* Develop customised solutions including manufacturing automation and safety systems.
* Lead the manufacture, build and validation of systems including pneumatics, servos, variable frequency drives, relays, communications networks, HMI touchscreens.
* Produce and approve documentation such as user manuals, programming diagrams, network diagrams and electrical drawings.
* Create programs that are easily understood by trained personnel and are versatile.
* Support day-to-day manufacturing escalations.
* Maintain accurate records.
* Train operators and trainers on new systems.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in Robotics / Automation or other relevant engineering discipline.
* At least 2 years experience in a high-volume automated manufacturing plant.
* Proficient with MS Office, Siemens, RS Logix, Auto CAD / solid works.
* In-depth knowledge of electrical and control systems, Vision, sensors, inspection, communications systems.
* Strong problem-solving skills with proven analytical track record.
* Excellent communication skills across all levels in the business.
* Resourceful and motivated to succeed in a high output environment.
