Overview
The role of Design Lead is to oversee the design process for water and wastewater projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all disciplines are incorporated into 3D models.
* Design Management: Coordinate the design process, manage expenditure, report progress, and confirm adherence to technical standards.
* Team Coordination: Manage a team of engineers across mechanical, electrical, ICA, and civil disciplines.
* Preliminary Design Work: Conduct preliminary design work for tendering and estimating purposes.
* Technical Governance: Ensure technical governance and sign-off of designs.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess:
* A minimum of 10 years' experience in design management.
* Experience managing multidiscipline engineering design teams.
* Proficiency in Revit/BIM/AutoCAD software.
* Principal Designer/PSDP certification or working towards chartership.
