Site Engineer – Sligo
DOE: €70K – €80K + Package
Overview
A main contractor with numerous projects across Ireland is seeking a Site Engineer to support their team on a project in Cluny, County Sligo.
The successful candidate will be utilising MMC, modern methods of construction, in a fully onsite role.
Responsibilities
Carry out setting out and surveying using total stations and GPS to mark structural points, levels, drainage, roads, and boundaries.
Provide technical support to site teams and subcontractors, reviewing drawings and ensuring works meet design and specification requirements.
Monitor quality and health & safety compliance, including review of RAMS and adherence to QA standards.
Plan and coordinate works through short-term programmes, two-week lookaheads, subcontractor coordination, and material planning.
Prepare and maintain site records, including daily/weekly reports and material reconciliation.
Identify and resolve on-site technical issues, clashes, and design discrepancies to maintain progress.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or construction-related field.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and surveying instruments.
Strong leadership, communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
Full, clean driver's license.
