Job Description:
Our client, a leading organisation in the professional services sector, is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join their team. The role supports senior leadership across multiple locations by providing financial insights, analysis, and guidance to aid in effective decision-making.
Job Responsibilities:
* Partner with senior management to drive performance and support data-driven decision-making.
* Deliver strategic financial advice that influences business direction and performance.
* Identify and implement opportunities for cost optimisation and efficiency gains.
* Provide detailed financial analysis, planning, and forecasting to ensure robust financial management.
* Lead monthly reporting, including KPI tracking, profit and loss analysis, and executive summaries.
* Oversee the annual budget process and deliver relevant materials for leadership review.
* Coordinate capital expenditure proposals and grant application support.
* Manage balance sheet reconciliations and statutory audit preparation.
* Act as key contact for external audit, tax requirements, and governance compliance.
* Contribute to continuous process improvements, system enhancements, and financial operations optimisation.
* Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across various business units.
Experience Required:
* Minimum 3–5 years post-qualified experience in a finance role.
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA).
* Proven background in financial planning, reporting, and business partnering.
* Strong financial modelling and numerical analysis skills.
* Effective communicator with the ability to simplify financial information for non-finance stakeholders.
* Experience managing complex budgets and forecasts within a multi-site environment.
Desirable Skills:
* Familiarity with finance systems such as SUN or equivalent.
* Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting skills.
* Experience in capital projects and audit preparation is a plus.
* Interest or exposure to events, leisure, or venue-based industries is advantageous but not essential.
Educational Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
* Professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CIMA) is essential.
