The firm provides audit, tax, advisory and business services to a diverse portfolio of SMEs, owner-managed businesses, family-run companies and not-for-profit organisations.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team.
The Role As a Senior Accountant, you will manage a portfolio of clients across a range of industries, delivering high-quality accounting, tax and business advisory services.
You will work closely with partners and managers while acting as a key point of contact for clients.

Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of clients across a variety of sectors Prepare and review year-end financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies Prepare management accounts, cashflow forecasts and budgets Prepare and review corporation tax, income tax and VAT returns Liaise directly with clients and provide ongoing financial and business advice Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations and filing deadlines Assist clients with Revenue audits, CRO filings and other statutory requirements Supervise and mentor junior staff members Identify opportunities to improve clients' financial processes and business performance Support partners with ad hoc advisory assignments and practice development initiatives Candidate Requirements ACA, ACCA or CPA qualified Minimum 3–5 years' experience in an accountancy practice environment Strong knowledge of Irish accounting standards, tax compliance and financial reporting Experience managing a client portfolio Excellent communication and relationship management skills Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines Experience mentoring or supervising junior team members Proficient in accounting software and cloud-based systems Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness Full working rights in Ireland Desirable Experience Experience with Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, ROS, Surf Accounts or similar systems Exposure to industries such as retail, construction, hospitality, professional services or manufacturing Experience with company secretarial work and CRO compliance Experience assisting with business planning, restructuring or tax planning projects What's on Offer Competitive salary and benefits package Clear progression opportunities within the practice Exposure to a broad and varied client base Ongoing training and professional development Supportive team culture with direct access to partners Flexible working arrangements Paid professional subscriptions Modern office environment in Cork
